How accurate is the Varka solar ROI calculator? +
Our calculator uses PVGIS irradiance data calibrated for Delhi-NCR (1,500-1,600 kWh/kWp/year), current DISCOM tariff data, and live subsidy rates. Results are within 5% of actual system performance.
What data do I need to use the calculator? +
You need your monthly electricity bill amount, approximate rooftop area, and your city. Optionally, your sanctioned load and panel orientation improve accuracy.
Does the calculator account for subsidy? +
Yes. The PM Surya Ghar central subsidy and applicable state subsidies are automatically deducted from the system cost based on your selected system size.
What system size do I need for my bill? +
