What safety certifications do Varka Solar installations carry? +
All Varka installations comply with IEC 61730 (panel safety), IEC 62109 (inverter safety), IS 16221 (Indian standard for rooftop solar), and CEA regulations for grid-connected systems.
How does Varka ensure electrical safety during installation? +
Varka uses ISI-marked cables, IP65+ junction boxes, DC isolators, AC isolators, surge protection devices, and earth fault protection on every installation. Only licensed electricians work on live circuits.
Does solar installation void my building insurance? +
No. Properly installed solar systems certified to IS standards do not void building insurance. Varka provides completion certificates and test reports that satisfy insurance requirements.
What happens during a power cut? +
Standard grid-tied systems shut down instantly for line-man safety (that is why they are so safe) - battery-ready hybrids keep essentials running. Either way, the equipment itself is certified to disconnect within milliseconds.
How is my roof protected from leaks and water damage? +
Mounting points are rubber-isolated and sealed with UV-grade waterproofing; where drilling is unavoidable, penetrations are re-sealed and water-tested before handover - your waterproofing warranty is preserved.
